Who We Are
We (Greg and Carlene Taylor) founded Taylor Consulting Group (TCG) as a family business in 2008. TCG originated primarily as a roof and waterproofing consulting company in Northeast Ohio. As our client base began to grow and their needs evolved, we realized the importance of not only designing and maintaining a functioning and sustainable roof system, but the need to include the interrelated components of the building envelope. With the ever increasing demand and understanding that the importance of a functioning building envelope is crucial to the integrity and sustainability of the building, we decided to expand our services to include the entire building envelope.
We are licensed in the state of Ohio as an engineering firm and employ professional engineers and registered roof consultants. Our staff has significant construction experience, which affords us the unique ability to not only understand technical details and specifications, but also the constructability of those details and specifications. This knowledge gives us an advantage in developing realistic budgets and construction documents which reduces costly change orders and confusion during construction.
We are a registered Female Business Enterprise (FBE), certified through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council.
